App Privacy Policies

Lauritzen Capture

Everything you write in Lauritzen Capture starts on your device. Your notes, tasks, ideas, and calendar entries are stored locally in a SQLite database. There are no Lauritzen Capture analytics.

iCloud sync is the Apple-device backup path. When enabled in the native app, Lauritzen Capture keeps a private copy in iCloud storage so Apple devices can restore and sync the local library.

Local AI uses Apple’s on-device Foundation Models. If you enable Local AI, the app asks the native on-device model to reason over the small set of notes most relevant to your question. No personal AI credentials or third-party AI provider are required.

Local AI is entirely opt-in. The whole app works without it. Search, capture, canvas, and local storage remain complete without any model running.

Dictation clean-up is a separate, optional feature. If you turn it on, after you dictate a note the app may suggest a tidied-up version — fixing punctuation and filler words. It’s shown to you as a suggestion, never applied automatically, and it’s never allowed to change the meaning of what you said.
